The CanWatt® generator is a hydrokinetic generator with an energy density 5x greater than the competition. It can fit into a backpack and is deployable by a single person in depths as shallow as 1 m. The CanWatt® begins to make power in flow speeds as low as 0.5 m/s and provides continuous 120 VDC output without the need for a battery.
The CanWatt® generator can be used for many applications including field deployments with Government departments such as the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Border Services, Fisheries, Oceans, Parks , and Natural Resources, as well as assisting in electrification of remote buildings or communities.
